Full Day Tour to Los Haitises Park
The excursion Los Haitises National Park from Samana is one of the main National Park with natural attractions of the Dominican Republic, this place served as an indigenous refuge at the time of the discovery where it consists of caves, hidden natural landscapes inside there you can admire the drawings made by the Indians more than 500 years ago.
This tour to the haitises national park starts in the morning departing from the samana pier where you will begin the crossing through the bay to reach the bird sanctuary, then from there we will enter the shark mouth cave, we will make a tour of the red mangroves of the place that is very important for small fish refuge to avoid being eaten by the big ones.
Then we will arrive at the main dock of Los Haitises Park for a walk through the caves of the line and enter the sands, and to end the day we will visit the island of Cayo Levantado (Barcadi Island) where the rest of the day awaits us with lunch and enjoy the beach.

Los Haitises National Park Excursion
ITINERARY
We start in the morning with your meeting at the dock of Santa Barbara de Samana where our staff will introduce themselves and put on the bracelets of identity tour, and then you will be guided to your boat in a personalized way to begin your tour of the bay of Samana.
The first stop will be at the bird sanctuary where you will observe some types of birds, we will continue with a tour through the red mangroves of Sabana de la Mar, where our tour guide will inform you about all the fauna and flora of the place.
Our next stop at the main dock of the haitises national park where we will hike through the cave line and the sand where we will enter this wonderful subway place inside the mountain, and observe some figures made by the natives at that time.
And finally we will visit the famous Barcadi Island (Cayo Levantado) where we will take the rest of the day with lunch included and enjoy the beach and visit the typical sourveniles store.
